FINALLY some proper hockey back at the Bell 🔥 five home dates in nine nights, that's a real gauntlet and I'm already buzzing for Carolina on the 6th. People keep saying 106 points was lucky but 48 wins don't happen by accident tbh. That +27 goal line against us? Our boys earned every bit of it. Which one scares me most? Carolina, no question 😱 rest of the slate we should handle, Buffalo and Detroit especially, drop points there and ah well, nowt to do but yell at my TV anyway. GO HABS GO 💪🙌
One love, one side ❤️

None of them scare me, Carolina first and we send a message 🔥 48 wins don't lie, backing them all day through thick and thin 💪🙌
On the terraces since I was a kid.

No underdog courage on your part, ROIAnalyst 😄 fair enough, I like conviction. I won't touch parlays for all five games though; too much risk in the schedule. My approach is simpler: value comes from puck line and first period lines. Carolina 6th is no fluke, but they'll have to grind it out against opponents who aren't bringing anything new. And playing at Bell Centre, where the crowd is loud, is a real edge. If the Habs' ML goes over -140, I'll just take the pl on -1.5 around +170 and not sweat it. And those games where the opponent is dragging, Nashville, Buffalo, Detroit, that's where I'll amp up the standard ML. My bet: 1u on Carolina ML (or pl if the price rises), then max 2u total on the "weak three." My bankroll is everything, and there's no need to overextend on 5-0 runs 🔥 We'll see what the line does as we get closer - if the market starts squeezing the moneyline, that's a signal to reconsider the pl.
The line moves — catch it.

Five games in nine nights, my couch is gonna file for overtime pay 🤣 I can barely survive a doubleheader of Netflix, these boys are actually built different 😂

ha, Metric_Master lost me halfway, my ol' knees feel that October grind just reading the schedule 😉 tom's got the right instinct though - nine nights of hockey against good teams, even the great montreal clubs i've followed since the old days never swept stretches like this clean. carolina worries me more than the rest, and honestly if they snag three wins outta five that'd prove plenty already.

Kev respect for the old-school perspective but wait for the fanboys to pile in after one win and tell us the Cup's coming home 😂 honestly the one that scares me is Nashville on the 8th, buried third game in four nights at the Bell while everyone's drooling over Carolina first. Took a peek at the totals markets already and the books clearly know about that stretch too. C$20 says the "106 was a fluke" crowd goes real quiet by the 14th... or very loud 🤡

Kev's right, no montreal club ever cruised through a stretch like this untouched. for me it's the detroit game on the 10th. Fifth in nine nights, legs are gone by then. we'll see 😉

Detroit on the 10th is where I'd throw my loonie too - fifth game in nine nights, legs gone. Sure thing, mate, bookies will love that one 😏

It's a lottery, not sport.

Fifth game in nine nights, huh, back in the day we'd have called that a light week 😄 honest answer is none of these five scare me the way November scares me, when the legs you build in October either hold up or quietly disappear. 106 points looked pretty last spring too, and we all remember how those years went. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it. See you at the Bell on the 6th.
Been here longer than some have followed.
