Avs on Oct 7 at Canada Life, opener buzz always inflates the Jets price a touch so I'll wait for the line and pounce if Winnipeg sits anywhere near even. 🔥 Took the puck line on them in a home opener a couple years back, toasted a C$150 payout that night, and been chasing that high ever since 😄 Checking the starter list daily before I touch anything.

enforcer's got a point about the 26th place thing, I'll give him that much. back in the day I sat through a few openers where the barn was rocking and the team played like they'd never met each other before. one year at the old rink the noise was unreal and we still got outshot something silly. 😄 that said, I took the 7th off my schedule too, that drive back from a haul always feels longer than the game does. opener buzz is worth it regardless of where we finished last spring, and four of five at home in October is a soft landing for whatever this roster is. I'll temper the hype but I'll be there hollering with the rest of you. whiteout or not, first puck drop always smells like hope. 😉

rob said it right - the barn can be rocking and the team still sleepwalks. i've had my seats since the old days and some of the loudest openers ended with everyone filing out quiet. still, four of the first five at home is a decent runway to build something, even coming off that 26th place season. i'll be there october 7 like always, whiteout or not 😉
