Quatro cashout went through, but they KYC'd me all over again

Repeat KYC on a second cashout is normal enough from what I've seen, annoying as it is. A lot of these places run fresh checks every so often or when a payout hits some internal flag, and "fresh ID plus proof of address" reads like a standard re-verify cycle. The good news in your report is the important part: no bonus, no rollover argument, and the money actually landed. That's the part that matters. Plenty of outfits make you jump through hoops and then stall the payout for weeks. If Quatro paid clean both times, I'd take the re-verification as a nuisance fee and move on, though if they ask a third time on the next one I'd start wondering what's triggering it.💸
Bankroll discipline wins.

Reminds me of renewing my drivers licence, every few years, same counter, same photo, same grumble from me 😄. Ben's about right though. From what I've seen over the years, these places cycle their checks whether you like it or not, and a payout can trip whatever internal flag they keep hidden in a drawer somewhere. Had something similar myself once, cashed out clean, then weeks later they wanted fresh papers like we'd never met. Annoying, sure, but the money landed both times and that's the part I care about. If they're re-verifying with no bonus and no rollover hanging over the withdrawal, I'd almost take it as a halfway decent sign, a shop that goes quiet and pays slow is the one I'd worry about.😉

Thanks for explaining, Ben and Kev, honestly I was starting to think my account got flagged for something bad 😅. Renewing a licence is a good way to put it, Kev, that actually makes me feel better about it lol. So it sounds like a payout itself can trip a fresh check even with no bonus and no wagering attached? I only ever cashed out once before at a place like this and they never asked again, so maybe I just got lucky there, or maybe I'm still learning how this all works 😄. Do you folks just keep copies of your ID and a utility bill handy now so the re-verify goes fast? Seems like that'd save a week of back and forth each time.
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏

Kev's licence analogy is cute, but a licence has an expiry date printed on it. What's the expiry on a KYC file? If these outfits ran checks on a schedule, they'd tell you the interval. "Internal flag" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in Ben's post, show me the numbers on how often that flag actually fires. For what it's worth, I've been asked for fresh proof of address on a second payout too, no bonus in play either time. Money landed, so I shrug it off. Still, I'd like to know whether it's random or triggered by something specific, payout size, gap between deposits, who knows. Anyone here had a third cashout with no re-verify at all? That'd settle whether it's a cycle or a coin flip.

Re-verify on cashout two and three has been my experience too, one site even asked again after a change of address. Money landed, that's the part that matters.

Dave's got it right, money landing is the whole scoreboard. My caveat: they should say why they're re-checking. "Internal flag" with no expiry date sounds like a gut feeling with paperwork, eh.
Hype isn't an argument.

funny you mention proof of address, back when I cashed out of a site a few years back they wanted a utility bill, and the only one I had was addressed to the shop, not the house, so I sent my truck insurance paper instead and it went through fine. point being, they'll take whatever document shows the address, so don't sweat the format. money landing with no rollover attached is the real headline here, rest is just paperwork theatre 😄

RobLegend put his finger on my problem with this. A trigger nobody can name is just a coin flip wearing a lanyard. I do monitoring systems for a living, and any alert that can't tell you why it fired was configured badly by somebody. Same logic here. If Quatro re-checks on a schedule, publish the interval. If a risk flag trips it, say what the flag is. Otherwise "internal flag" is paperwork wrapped around a hunch, which is exactly the gut-feeling excuse dressed up in a compliance shirt. My caveat to Dave and Rob: the payout cleared, no bonus attached, nothing to wager through, so there's nothing to actually fight over. I just don't love being treated like a brand-new customer every time I ask for my own money. ValueHunter's truck insurance story tracks too. If a reviewer takes whatever document looks official, that tells you how rigorous the whole exercise really is.
Where's the proof?

Did the same dance at a place years back. Re-verified on the third cashout, took a day, money still showed up. Annoying, but if they're paying I'll send the papers 😉

Harry's monitoring take tracks with me, an alert with no reason code is just someone's hunch in a suit. Though mine re-verified on cashout one, never mind two.
Sample first, conclusions after.

ah, the periodic document shuffle, seen it all before 🙂 had the same thing happen at a place I'd been with for years, third payout, out of the blue, "please send fresh docs." my theory is these outfits just wipe their verification slate every so often, probably when some compliance review rolls around, and nobody at the front desk can tell you why. as long as the cash lands, I grumble and scan my licence again.

Harry's point about alerts without reason codes is fair, I'll give him that. My caveat: in a regulated-ish setup you'll often never see the reason code anyway, because the operator doesn't want to teach fraudsters what trips the wire. So "nobody can name the trigger" cuts both ways - badly configured system or deliberately opaque one, and from the player side they look identical. For what it's worth, mine re-verified on a cashout where I hadn't touched a bonus either, no rollover hanging over anything. Money landed, so like BadBeat said, I sent the papers and moved on. I do think asking for address proof again is lazy though. Utility bills don't expire as fast as they seem to believe.
Hype isn't an argument.

they re-did my papers at one place a while back after a change of address, so an expiry date on your id could've tripped it too. long as the money lands, i don't grumble much 😉

FanaticArmy pretty much nailed it, you'll never get shown the tripwire, so arguing about it is pointless. My only caveat: "unseen reason code" and "no reason at all" are indistinguishable from the player side, which is exactly why people smell a rat. I manage access reviews for a living and we re-verify accounts on a schedule too; annoying, sure, but if the cashout landed I file it under paperwork tax.
Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

Money landed so the complaint column stays empty for me, but I'll admit the re-KYC burned an evening I'd rather have spent anywhere else. Sent the ID and a utility bill, support sat on it a couple days, then paid out same as the first time. As a guy who tracks every line move before touching a wager, I hate processes that move with no visible reason, and that's basically what this is. An internal flag you'll never get shown. That said, from a pure risk-to-bankroll view, a place that pays twice and just asks for fresh papers between payouts is doing the annoying part right. The one I'd worry about is the reverse: smooth first cashout, then stalling on the second with excuse after excuse. My question to the room: anyone had Quatro re-verify a THIRD time, or does the shuffle stop after round two? 😭💸
Value over a big price 💸
