Captain Jack Casino - read the terms before you deposit
been around long enough that "read the terms first" used to be optional advice, now it's survival gear 😄 that clause putting the burden on you to prove you met every condition before they honour a withdrawal is the classic one - it only bites when you're actually waiting on a cashout. i'm in ontario so i've mostly drifted to the regulated side, but for the folks here who did run their kyc and cashout through captain jack, how strict were they about it, and did the fine print match what actually happened?
Been here longer than some have followed.
That burden-of-proof clause is the part that'd worry me too. A cashout that only gets honoured if you can document every condition is exactly where grey-market operations hide. I haven't cleared a withdrawal with them myself, so watching this thread for someone who's actually been through their KYC. If their fine print matches reality, fair enough; if it only shows up when the money's leaving, that tells you everything 😭
Value over a big price 💸

Same here, watching for someone who's done their KYC 🙏 maybe I'm wrong but wouldn't a proper regulator make them do the digging instead of the player?
Learn something new every day.
BethUltra asked the right question. Whether a regulator would make them do the digging depends entirely on who actually regulates them, and nobody in this thread has established that yet. Until someone does, assume the terms mean what they say: you keep the receipts, screenshots of every wagering balance, bonus status, timestamps. I'm a sysadmin by trade, documentation is reflex for me, and even I find that burden tiresome.
Haven't cashed out with Captain Jack myself, so no verdict from personal experience. General rule I've settled on after a few grey-market wins that took weeks: I'll believe it when I see it. If a first withdrawal clears without a fight, fine print matched reality. If it stalls on some clause you'd swear you followed, well, that clause existed for a reason at signup. Watch this space with me.
Numbers are honest, takes aren't.
Kev's right. Who actually regulates them changes everything. Until someone here shows a cleared cashout, I'm not convinced. Burden of proof on the player? Show me the numbers.
The part that bugs me is you find out how strict the KYC is only after you've deposited and cleared wagering. If anyone here actually got paid by them, say so 😭
Bankroll discipline wins.
Ben summed it up, you only learn how strict they are after depositing. I ate a week-long KYC delay on a smaller site once, so now I read every clause twice, eh.
Where's the proof?
Funny thing about fine print, back in my day the worst you'd worry about was a cranky teller at the counter, now it's a PDF written by lawyers who never deposited a dollar in their lives 😄
I'll put it this way: watch casinos as long as I have and you'll know a clause like that isn't decoration. If the terms say the onus is on you to prove every condition was met, they mean it, and they'll enforce it exactly when your cashout hits the queue. Nobody in this thread's produced a cleared withdrawal yet, so the skeptic in me says treat the deposit as a test, not a commitment. Small one, no bonus, see if the KYC behaves, the old rule of trying a canoe before you buy the whole outfit. If anyone here has actually been paid by them, speak up, because that'd change my read. Until then I'm keeping my wallet in my pocket.😉
