Don't laugh, guys, but I still get confused with the Sportsnet schedule 😅 Is the Ducks game on the 10th actually on regular Sportsnet or one of the regional feeds? And what time does it start here in Winnipeg? Want to set a reminder so I don't miss the opener 🙏

The confusion with Sportsnet's regional splits has been going on since back in the day when you needed a rabbit-ear antenna and a prayer 😄 For the Jets home opener on the 10th, your safest bet is the main Sportsnet listing and the Sportsnet app - it'll show you exactly which feed and what time it starts in Winnipeg local time once the schedule locks in. I just check the TV guide the morning of, saves me the guessing game.
And honestly, worth the reminder, opening night against Anaheim, then Minnesota at home on the 14th and a trip to Chicago on the 16th. Four points-hungry teams right off the hop. I've set my PVR for the whole week already, old habit from when I used to tape games for night shifts 😄

Is it like some games only show up on certain channels depending where you live? Uncle_Guy, simple picture for you: Sportsnet runs national channels plus regional ones, and the regional feeds show the local team's broadcast to folks in that team's territory. So a Jets game in Manitoba might be on the West regional feed, while folks out east get whatever their region carries that night, some other game entirely. National games, like the Saturday night ones, go out the same everywhere.
For the opener on the 10th, check the main Sportsnet listing or the app and it'll tell you which channel in your area - Dave, same advice for you, the app saves a lot of head-scratching. Reminds me of the old days when half the barn couldn't see the away games at all unless a buddy taped it 😄 we're spoiled now, honestly. Enjoy the opener, folks.

Victoria gets the national feed, NickDiehard, so you're fine either way. For Winnipeg on the 10th, check the Sportsnet app listing the day before and it'll spell out the channel and start time for your postal code, they're good about that now. Mark the 14th and 16th on the fridge calendar while you're at it, three games in a week sneaks up quick 😉
