Probably a daft question but does anyone know what time the Flames-Kraken game on October 2 actually starts, and if it's on Sportsnet West or streaming only? Still learning this stuff 😅 I don't want to miss it live since the road trip after looks rough to catch.

Sportsnet West carries it as the regional broadcast, and SN NOW will stream the same feed if you're a keener on the couch. After this one the road swing through Anaheim and Vegas gets rough, so savour the home opener 😉

I always figured every Flames game just shows up on Sportsnet. Is the October 2 game on TV AND a streaming service, or do some games skip TV entirely? Feels like there's a trick to catching these openers 😅

fair question, no shame in asking. streaming only means the game doesn't show up on regular tv at all. You'd have to pay for a service (like the league's own app or amazon's nhl package) to watch it. sportsnet holds most flames games, but a handful each season end up on those exclusive streams, and those are the ones that catch people out. for october 2nd you should be fine on sportsnet west, though a quick look at the schedule page never hurts, ask me how i know 😄 back in the day we just had one channel and that was that, now you need a flowchart to find a tuesday game.
