Nashville on the 8th is my circle tbh, opener buzz fades and that's when we really test 'em 🔥 Canes fans gonna hear 21,000 eh 🤬

Bettor hat on: opener vs Carolina is where I'm looking, and I'll say why. Home openers at the Bell usually bring juice DOWN on the favourite because everyone piles in on sentiment, so if Montréal opens around -140 I might actually take the Canes moneyline for a fly ticket or wait for the puck line. My C$50 says the real value lands Oct 13 vs Buffalo though. Second night of a back-to-back stretch, books will shade it heavily toward the Habs and that's usually overpriced. Landed me a nice one on a similar spot last season 🔸💸

Circling Detroit on the 10th, my ex works that night and the Bell will be louder than she ever was 🤣 hold my pint while I pretend I can afford the ticket 🍿

Was at the Bell opener as a kid and the roof nearly came off 🙌 so yeah, Oct 6 vs Carolina, no debate. Whole stretch AFTER that feels louder anyway 😤🍁
You don't abandon your own.

Sorry if this is daft, but why's everyone sleeping on Buffalo the 13th? 😅 feels like the statement win to me. Thanks for the thread GaryArmy 🙏
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏

FanaticLegend nah not daft tbh 🔥 Buffalo on the 13th could get ugly for them, we put 283 past the league last year and that building HATES the Sabres, they gonna hear it all night 😤 but for me it's Carolina the 6th, statement right out the gate, you just know 💪
Heart with the team, head on pause.

Honest question maybe, but is anyone else not sold on the Carolina opener as the statement? 😅 Sure the roof'll come off, but they're always a tough first night out. Feels like Detroit on the 10th is where the crowd really gets to breathe and the boys can put on a show. Still learning the rhythms here so go easy on me 🙏

Carolina opener reminds me of the old Norris Division nights - first game in, nobody's legs are under them yet and the barn does half the work 😄 amy's right that Buffalo crowd will be nasty, but watch as long as I have and you'll get it: the statement win never shows up where you circled it in September. Could be Detroit, could be that Washington trip spoiling the party. Just enjoy five nights of it, kid 😉
Seen it all, lads.
