Carolina opening that October 6 slate at Centre Bell is where I'm fading — took the Canes moneyline at the book last night, small C$50 punt because five games in nine days right out of the gate screams fatigue trap to me. watched the habs through enough of these opening-month squeezes to side with zoe here, the 6th against carolina is about the freshest they'll look all fall. my caveat though: fresh legs or not, the canes forecheck made better teams than this look tired in their own barn, back in my day and last season both. i'd keep tom's C$50 in my pocket until the 13th myself; measure twice, cut once 😄
