Okay, maybe this is a daft question but I genuinely can't figure out the broadcast stuff yet 😅 Devils host the Canucks on Oct 10 in Newark and I want to catch it live. Is that on Sportsnet here in Canada, or do I need Sportsnet+ for the stream? And what time does it start. I keep guessing the time zones wrong and end up missing periods. Don't laugh, I'm new to this 🙏 Would love a simple answer so I can set a reminder.

good question metric. basically yes - sportsnet runs regional feeds, so the channel number for the oct 10 devils-canucks game can differ between, say, vancouver and toronto. your best bet is checking the tv guide or sportsnet+ the day before; if the regional feed's blacked out in your area, the stream usually carries it. back in the day we just had one channel and counted ourselves lucky 😉

Honestly after a 58-point season with 316 goals against I don't know why anyone's racing to find the feed 😅 but yeah Katie, Sportsnet+ will carry it, just check the listing the night before like the lads said. I'll be watching regardless, you just know I can't turn off a Canucks game even when it hurts 🥲

Puck drops evening eastern time. Me, I'll watch even if they gave up 316 goals last year. Patience is a virtue, and I've got season tickets through worse rebuilds 😉
