Bleu-blanc-rouge family lounge: coffee's on, hot takes are free
Evening lads, coffee's brewing and I'm buzzing for tonight at the Bell 🔥🔥 we're due a big one tbh. Someone please volunteer for the poutine run, my guy always jinxes it 🤬. How's everyone doing, and nope, nobody touch the power play talk, we say nothing and maybe it finally wakes up 💪🙌
One love, one side ❤️
back in my day we didn't have a poutine guy, we had a guy who'd bring a two-four and ketchup chips and we swore THAT was good luck 😄
anyway, evening lads. watching from out west tonight but the jersey's on and the kettle's whistling. i say let's try a new superstition, nobody talks about the man advantage until it actually scores. whole thread goes silent on it like it's a wake. and for the poutine run, whoever's closest to the St-Hubert on Sainte-Catherine gets drafted, that's just how it works. enjoy the Bell Centre noise for those of us stuck with the late feed, hockey at 8 your time is 6 mine, small mercies. go habs go, quietly 🤫🔴🔵

guys my poutine order once got us 3 goals in a period and I've been legally required to buy it ever since 🤣 delivering tonight, hold my pint
Came to laugh, stayed for life 🍿
DannyFaithful960 with the sacred poutine order 🙌 that's a hero right there. nobody say ONE word about the pp, not even whisper it 😱🔥
On the terraces since I was a kid.
Danny delivering the sacred order is the best news all day 🙏 maybe I'm wrong but I'll chip in a few bucks if it keeps the goals coming 😅 still learning this jinx stuff, sorry
Learn something new every day.
danny, keep that order coming every home game then, i'll chip in too 😄 funny thing about jinxes, back in the day at the forum we had a fella who refused to sit down when we were up a goal, and we let him stand for three periods, knees be damned. the young lot never saw that kind of dedication. enjoy the game tonight lads, poutine smells better with a win anyway 😉
Been here longer than some have followed.
DaveFaithful count me in for a few bucks too 🙏 only rule at my coffee shop is nobody mentions the pp till it's over, learned that the hard way 😅
Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏
ha, the standing fellas of the old barns, every section had one, and we'd have staked our pensions on 'em 😄 this lounge is turning into exactly what it should be, chip-in for the poutine, superstitions honoured, and nobody says the pp out loud till it's safe. that's the right rule there, friend. coffee's still warm if anyone wants a top-up before puck drop 😉
ha, standing for three periods, that reminded me of a guy in my old section who'd leave his seat the second we went on the power play and stand in the aisle with his arms crossed until the whistle 😄 i'm good for a few bucks toward the poutine too, danny - just keep that order away from the jinx crowd and we'll be fine tonight.

@DaveArmy lmao the aisle guy with crossed arms is peak superstition 😂 my uncle does that with a sweater he hasn't washed since 1993, hold my pint I'm chipping in for poutine too
Memes are analysis too.
I'll toss in C$5 for the poutine, but someone's got to say it: the unwashed-sweater luck only "works" because nobody remembers the games it failed in. Confirmation bias in a jersey.
That said, if the aisle guy keeps his routine and the pp stays unspoken till it's over, I won't be the one jinxing it. Cheap insurance, honestly. Anybody actually tracking whether the superstition correlates with results, or are we all just going on vibes here?
Sample first, conclusions after.
