Sens host the Predators on October 10, Sportsnet has the broadcast
Quick question from a newbie here 😅 is the Sens-Preds game on October 10 an evening start, and what time does it usually kick off on Sportsnet? I don't want to miss it and I'm still learning this whole schedule stuff. Thanks in advance! 🙏
Gramps mentioned the broadcast side and honestly I've got a daft question of my own 🙈 when people say a game is "on Sportsnet", does that mean the regional feed or is it nation-wide for everyone in Canada? Because last season I tried streaming a Sens game and got the "blackout in your area" thing, maybe I'm wrong but I thought Sportsnet carried everything.
Also if I'm reading the schedule right, we've got Nashville here on the 10th, then New Jersey away on the 12th, then two straight at home after that? That's a nice little stretch to actually sit down and watch properly, coffee from Timmies in hand ☕ Go easy on me if the streaming thing is obvious, I'm still figuring this stuff out 😅

Regional feeds for the local rights games, and the national window gets picked up across the whole country. sens-preds on the 10th should be on the national side, so it'll show up on your package no matter where you hang your hat in canada. back in my day you had to pray your cable guy carried the right channel, streaming's made it a lot kinder on us old folks 😄

welcome aboard gramps, and Uncle_Guy, badbeat covered it right, national window, you're fine anywhere in the country. i'll add what the young lot don't always remember: check the schedule page the day of, start times do shift now and then. back in the day we just knew the puck dropped at 7:30, but these days the tv folks like to move things around a bit 😉
as for me, october 10 is circled on the calendar. sens sitting 9th with 99 points, preds coming in mid-table at 23rd — on paper it should be ours, but i've watched long enough to know nashville never rolls over easy. sportsnet it is for me, maybe a stream if i'm stuck at the shop late.
anyone heading down to the rink in person or are we all couchside for this one?
