Sens host the Flyers on October 8
Quick question from a new guy here 🙋 don't laugh please
I really don't want to miss Sens–Flyers on October 8 since it's only one point between them (99 vs 98, wild). But I'm still learning how the Canadian broadcasts work... is this one on Sportsnet or TSN? And what time does puck drop in my timezone? I'm in Kelowna so I'm guessing the Ottawa game starts pretty late for me 😅
Also if it's on an app, do I need a cable subscription or is there a cheaper way? Explain like I'm five please, would really appreciate it 🙏
no laughs here kid, we all started somewhere 😄 honestly the safest bet is just flipping between sportsnet and tsn on the night - national games bounce around depending on the window, and the sens app or your tv provider's guide will confirm the puck drop time closer to the 8th. back in my day you just hoped the rabbit ears cooperated, so consider yourself lucky. welcome aboard, stick around.

Thanks for that 🙏 maybe a dumb question, when you say the tv provider's guide, does that work the same if someone only has the Sportsnet app, no cable?😅

the guide is just the channel listing your cable or satellite box shows, if you've got the sportsnet app only, skip that and open the app itself on game day, it'll list whatever they're carrying that night. sens-flyers on the 8th should show up right on the home screen; worst case i flip between sportsnet and tsn like badbeat said, been doing that since the old campus station days 😉
app lads will sort you out, check it morning of the 8th. One point apart, nobody should miss that opener 😄
