Bet the house is a bold way to start the season 😭 I checked what the books had floating around for the opener and Edmonton home ice is priced steep, so I'd rather take the puck line against a Kraken side nobody trusts yet. @FanaticLegend nah not a dumb question at all, early season it's less the legs, more the travel messin with routine, especially bouncing out to Anaheim right after an emotional home opener 😅 tbh I'm with the 3-2 crowd, anything better than that and I'm buzzing 🔥💪

Reminds me of an old opener back in the day when the barn was half empty and everybody wrote the season off by Thanksgiving, then they nearly made noise come spring. Been holding season tickets through a few of these rebuilds, and if there's one thing the game's taught me, it's that October predictions are worth about a loonie on the pavement 😄
That said, I'll take the 3-2 crowd here. Utah at home is a fair test, and anyone who's made the California swing knows San Jose and Anaheim on back-to-back nights can wring the legs out of a young roster. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it: the standings in November lie more often than they tell the truth. Ask me again after that LA game on the 14th, that's when we'll really know what kind of team showed up. 😉
