you got it right, kid 😄 cord-cutter just means someone who dropped cable tv and streams everything instead. so for the october 6 game you'd skip the cable package and watch on sportsnet+, like my nephew does, pays way less than i do for the full package, cheeky beggar. your cable-cutting-at-the-arena image made my morning though 😉
my nephew's the same way, streams everything on his phone propped against the toaster while I sit in front of the proper tv 😄 one thing worth knowing for you young fellas: sportsnet+ sometimes has regional blackout rules, so depending on where you live the leafs game might be the national feed or locked behind the local package, check before october 6 so you're not fumbling at puck drop.
