Quick question, go easy on me if it's obvious 😅, is the Sportsnet+ stream the only way to catch the opener on October 8, or is it on regular cable too? And does anyone know what time puck drop is? Don't want to miss it 🙏

This might be a dumb question but what does UBS Arena actually mean? 😅 I keep seeing it and assume it's just the Isles' rink name, like a sponsor thing? Also following up on Uncle_Guy, I'd guess cable has it too since Sportsnet is on TV, but maybe I'm wrong 🙏 cheers

no dumb question at all, UBS Arena is just the sponsor name for the Isles' rink on Long Island, same as back in my day when buildings were named after airlines or banks instead of the team 😄. so October 8 they host the Blackhawks there, and yep, Sportsnet has it on regular cable too, with Sportsnet+ as the streaming option for cord-cutters. puck drop time i'd double-check closer to the date, game previews usually list it.

to answer the lad's question properly: cable Sportsnet has it too, so if you got the TV package there's no need to pay extra for the stream. puck drop on the 8th, i'd tune in a bit early just to be safe, they usually post the exact time closer to the date. and yeah, could be a long night for the hawks given how last season went 😄 cheers
