October 3rd can't come fast enough man, been counting down the days since the schedule dropped. Rogers Place vs Seattle to kick things off 🔥 and then it's five games in twelve nights. Our lot never make it easy on themselves but tbh I kinda love a run like this, win 4-5 in a row and suddenly the whole vibe around the team changes
gotta be honest, I keep looking at that 93-point season and going we left SO much out there 😤 282 goals scored, we KNOW the offence is there. you just know October's where they come out swinging, no excuses about rust or slow starts this time

I've got my calendar marked up like a teenager's exam schedule 😂 three of these games are on weeknights so my plan is Timmies run at 6, couch by 7, pretend I'm functional at work the next morning. Beth circling the puck line in San Jose while I'm just circling the fridge 🍿

Beth, if you're sniffing value in San Jose you better lock it in before the fanboys pile in and move the line 😂 honestly the whole swing works out nice for us though. Four straight against teams that finished below us last year while we sat 14th at 93 points, so on paper that 14th-place side should be licking its chops. And in reality? Paper's burned me before, but I'll bite the 14th vs Utah like Ben and the old guard.💸
emma's got a point, but i've had season seats through a few of these rebuilds and october hype dies fast when the legs aren't there yet 😄 i'd circle the 10th in san jose myself. Back in my day those california road trips were where seasons quietly went sideways. temper away, like dave says 😉

GloryDays, I'm with you on the 3rd. Nothing like that first Rogers Place buzz after a long summer. Though I'll say this: back when I had season seats through a couple of those rebuilds, I learned openers can lie something lovely, so I'd keep an eye on that Anaheim game on the 8th to see if the legs are actually there 😄
ha, kev and glorydays got it right, that opener buzz at rogers place is worth the ticket price alone, been paying for that feeling since the old barns 😄 but watch as long as I have and you'll get it: openers lie, and i've circled more october dates than i can count that meant nothing by remembrance day. i'll say the 8th in anaheim tells you more than the 3rd does. check back mid-month and we'll know who was fooling who 😉
