October can't come soon enough man 😤 five games in nine nights, all that travel, and every single barn out west is gonna be loud and nasty. Anaheim first on the 8th, then San Jose, LA, Utah - that's a grinder of a stretch before we even get back home.
Which one scares me? LA, tbh. Always feel like the Kings suck the fun out of a game and drag us into mud hockey 🔥 But you know our lot never make it easy, and honestly that's half the fun. Backing them all day regardless. Who else is counting down the sleeps?? 🙌💪

Gary saying LA scares him?? 😱 nah buddy, that barn's quiet as a library. Utah on the 16th after three time zones in nine nights, that's the one that bites 🔥 legs gone, altitude weird, end of the trip. 93 points last year and we still underachieved, this stretch tells us everything 💪

For me the opener in Anaheim is where the books will post a soft number. Road team night one after travel, casual money piles on the home dog, and that's usually where I find value on the Oilers moneyline. Did that exact play last October trip, dropped C$300 because I didn't check the goalie confirmation first. Now I wait on starter news before touching anything 🔥 LA on the 14th will be priced honest, no edge there.

My biggest worry is my own sleeping schedule, nine nights of west coast puck means my legs will be more cooked than theirs 😂 I say Anaheim day one after the summer break is always ugly, we've all watched that movie. Don't laugh but maybe I'm wrong, Anaheim's been rough for us for years, so I'd stress about game one more than Utah's altitude 😅 still learning this stuff though 🙏

Funny thing is I said the same thing about Anaheim back in the day and the trip fell apart in San Jose instead 😄 five games in nine nights, the one that breaks you is never the one you circled on the calendar. And don't get cocky about a team that finished 14th with 93 points. Remember how many Octobers we've buried ourselves before the leaves even turned. Ask me again after the 16th, young fella 😉
