I'd back the Philly opener at home. Likely a modest price but I'll take Ottawa moneyline and maybe sprinkle the puck line if it's -1.5 at plus money. The Jersey road date is where the trap sits: second half of a back-to-back stretch, books will shade the road side. Loading up C$50 on opening night, the rest stays in my pocket until I see how the goalies line up 🔥💸

Back in the day we called that stretch the wheat harvest week: nobody remembers who you beat, only who buried you on the road.

Funny thing about openers - I sat through a few of them in the old barns where the crowd left buzzing and the season went sideways by Remembrance Day 😄 you'd think a 99-point club would make October easy but that's exactly when expectations start doing your thinking for you.
