FINALLY eh 😱 season's almost HERE. October 3, Rogers Place, Seattle walking into our barn and I already got goosebumps thinking about it 🔥💪
You just know that building's gonna be LOUD. Open at home then straight out west, Anaheim, San Jose, LA, Utah — brutal stretch but our lot never make it easy lol. Counting down the days tbh, who else is going?? 🙌

Already got my eye on the opener pricing, oddly enough the books opened Seattle around +130 in some spots which screams value to me given home ice at Rogers Place. Last time I chased a home opener moneyline at short odds I ate a loss and it stung, so this time I'm waiting for the goalie confirmation before I drop a loonie on it. If it drifts to even money I'm loading up, that's free real estate 💸

robs got it right, that opener's worth the trip. i've held seasons through a few of these rebuilds and let me tell ya, nothing beats the first whistle of the year, building's still optimistic, everybody's got 93 points of hope in their back pocket 😄
only caveat i'd add: don't leave early like the crowds did back at the coliseum, some of the best hockey in an opener happens in the third when the legs are fresh and the nerves are gone. me and the kid are making the drive up on the 3rd, same as we do. watch as long as I have and you'll get it, october everyone's a contender. see ya at Rogers Place 😉

saskatoon in october, i once drove to an opener with the wipers going and came home grinning anyway, that's the night that never disappoints. the california swing though, seen it all before: looks like a beach vacation on the schedule til the boys hit game four running on fumes. 93 points last year bought no favours from anybody's calendar, so temper the hope a little, kids 😉 who knows, maybe utah on the 16th turns out the beauty of the bunch.
