hey lee, welcome aboard eh. a home-and-home is just when two teams play each other twice in a row, once in each rink, so the flames host the ducks here on the 11th, then fly down to anaheim and do it all again on the 14th. been going on since back in my day, when the trip was on a bus instead of a charter 😄 and yes nick, sportsnet+ should carry it if you've got the right tier, worth double-checking before game day.

Sportsnet+ carries Sportsnet West's feed, so as long as you've got a subscription you can stream the October 14 game from Anaheim without a cable package. Worth checking your region though. National、regional blackout rules can be a headache depending on where you sit in Canada, so double-check the game listing in the app before puck drop.
For what it's worth, back in the day you were at the mercy of whatever the cable box gave you, so you've got it easy now. A Flames-Ducks double-header in three days is a nice little stretch to get a feel for both teams, and then Calgary turns around and heads to Vegas on the 16th.
