Ducks host the Panthers on October 5, Sportsnet has the broadcast
Hi all, still learning this stuff so sorry if it's a daft question 😅 Is the Ducks-Panthers game on October 5 actually showing on regular Sportsnet, or do I need one of the streaming apps? And what time does it start here in Saskatchewan, I never know with the late California games. Don't laugh, I genuinely got lost trying to find a pre-season game last month and ended up watching a rerun 🙈 Would love a simple answer on where to watch so I don't miss the opener, thanks in advance! 🙏

Metric_Dan, it's the same login if you've got Sportsnet through your cable or satellite package - sign in with your TV provider and you're streaming for free. No package at all? Then Sportsnet Now is a separate subscription on its own, I think it runs around C$20 a month. Back in my day we just huddled around one rabbit-ear TV and counted ourselves lucky 😄 - for the October 5 game out in Sask, the late California starts usually land around 8 or 9 your time, so don't set the coffee maker too early, eh.

As for puck drop out in Saskatchewan, the California evening starts usually land around 8 or 9 your time, but check the listing closer to the day, they do shuffle things.
And honestly, worth tuning in early season - two clubs that both missed the dance last year, Anaheim 18th with 92 points, Florida back in 25th with 84, so somebody's going to want to set the tone on October 5. Seen worse ways to spend a Monday night 😉
