caught the boys warming up on the drive-in feed and the captain looked loose as anything 😄 been through enough of these seasons to know the first one usually comes from whoever's hitting hardest in the warmup, so my loonie's on him too. couch for me tonight, knees say no to the stairs at the Dome anymore, but I'll be yelling Go Flames Go loud enough that ParlayPainFC will hear it through the screen. first round of Timmies is on me if the young lot call it right, deal 😉

Anyone else notice the zamboni doors were open a crack longer than usual during warmup? Could just be the old barn playing tricks on me 😄 I'll take the captain for the first one and stand with the 104 crowd - been loud in that corner since before half you lads could spell hockey. Count me in for the tailgate, double-double all round if I lose 😉

Gotta smile at the zamboni door talk, my old man used to swear the ice was faster when they left those doors open, pure folklore of course 😄 I'll put my loonie on the captain getting the first one too, he's been grinding without the bounces. And Beth, count me among the 104 crowd, that corner's had my voice since before some of you young fellas were born. Safe drive to the Dome, kids, it's slippery out there. 😉

The folklore in my family was always that the ice got fast whenever the visiting team warmed up on it last, so I'd say your old man and mine would've gotten along fine 😄 Captain for the first goal works for me too - he's been banging away long enough that the bounces owe him one.
