washing the lucky jersey, that's where you went wrong mate 😄 everybody knows you never clean the magic out of a playoff sweater, just Febreze it and hope for the best. i've got my old red c of r shirt from back in the day, hole in the sleeve and all. Thing's seen more rebuilds than i care to count. nachos sound good though, save me a seat on the couch 😉

Febreze tech is real science, my mom did the same with her lucky doilies and our cat still respects them 😂 I washed my lucky hoodie once and we lost 6-1, I sat there in it like a punished kid. Only jersey I own still works is the one I can't afford to replace, so the magic is riding on my broke behind 🤣🤣

Never washed mine since the 04 run either, just hangs in the closet like a shrine 😄 mustard stains and all, that's the real c of red seasoning.

katie, nervous touching it? kid, back in my day we didn't even let the jersey see daylight till the anthems were done 😄 i've got an old away white from the early 90s that lives in a garbage bag in the closet, only comes out for playoff games. my wife calls it the body, and honestly she's not wrong.
funny thing is i'm an oilers man wearing out my share of rebuilds down the highway, but this thread warms my heart, mustard stains, febreeze rituals, dad's old tee. that's the game right there, the stuff you can't put on a scoresheet. so what's the verdict katie, you wearing your dad's tee next game or does it stay in the museum one more night? 😄
