took the day off work for this one, first time in years i've done that for a regular season night 😄 feels like playoffs to me already.
jerkys sorted, my brother's driving in from okotoks and he's bringing his infamous seven-layer dip that has never once coincided with a loss. i'm not saying it's magic but nobody's allowed to touch it till puck drop. chloe, save me a spot near the good salsa, i'll bring my old scarf from the '04 run, ragged as anything but it's seen more wins than most of the current roster, if you watch as long as i have you'll get it 😉 see everyone at 6, first round's on me.

ha, burned jerky in the smoker, that's a new one. back in the day my old man used to bring bison jerky to every home game, and the one winter he forgot it we lost four straight. He was driving back halfway across the city for a batch by game five, I kid you not 😄
so yeah, dip starts, smoked jerky rides shotgun, and everyone's in their seats by 6 or they're buying the first round. see you lads at the potluck - and Chloe, keep that toque handy, the jumbotron's got a taste for it now 😉
