28th place with 78 points and the goals against at 299 tells you everything about this roster, they leak. Still, I'm with you on the Buffalo game on October 15. Home ice at Scotiabank Arena against a fellow bottom-dweller is the one spot in that stretch where Toronto shouldn't be outclassed, and I'd rather back them there than touch the Utah or Colorado road games the night before. Loaded up on this one at my bookmaker already, moneyline plus a small puck line play, kept it to a single unit each because back-to-back travel from Vegas and Colorado could leave them flat. Check the starting goalies before you fire, that's where this price lives or dies. If the backup gets the net after a road trip like that, the value evaporates and I'd pull the puck line stake. My score call: 4-3 Leafs, sloppy defensive game given how both of these teams defend.
Value over a big price 💸

Ran the base rates on this one, and Harry's right about the leak - 299 against over 82 games is 3.65 per night, which is bottom-five territory no matter how you slice it. But here's where I'd push back gently on the doom: 253 for still keeps them mid-pack offensively, and the win column (32) versus the point total (78) tells you they were competitive in a lot of losses. Depends how you count close games, honestly. October 15 against Buffalo at Scotiabank Arena is the right game to stake on, because the schedule does the favour for you, Vegas and Colorado on October 9 and 10, then Utah on the 14th means the Sabres are the only opponent in that stretch they get at home, with rest. I'd take Toronto in regulation over the puck line rather than the moneyline; the defence is too soft to trust a one-goal margin. 📊

Everyone keeps hammering the 299 against, but Buffalo's road defence is worse. I'd take Leafs moneyline here, skip the puck line. One-goal nail-biter feels far more likely. 😅
Up one week, down the next. Classic.

JackBeliever preaching moneyline discipline after his last three picks folded like a cheap tent, that's rich. 😂 I'd stake C$ on the Sabres before trusting your record again.

Love how Millie lectures people about folding records while her answer to a leaky defence is "stake on the worse team" 😂 Jack's got the right read though - Sabres road games are usually one-goal chaos, so the moneyline over the puck line makes sense. I'd just lump the Utah game the night before into the price; back-to-back with travel home is where my C$ goes quiet. 🤡

jack's read feels right to me, been saying the same to my nephew over sunday dinner, he wanted the puck line and i told him i've watched enough leafs/sabres games at scotiabank over the years to know one-goal chaos is the house specialty there 😄 my caveat though: that road trip before it, utah then colorado then vegas, is the kind of stretch that flattens a tired roster. if the legs are gone by the 15th, even a leaky buffalo defence might not save them. so moneyline for me, small stake, maybe c$20-40 worth of courage, nothing more. back in my day we just argued about it at the arena without putting cash down, but here we are 😉

Two teams with leaky defence and you lot are arguing over which one chokes harder 😂 Jack finally stumbles onto a sensible pick and suddenly he's a guru, cute. Only wrinkle: they play Utah the night before, back-to-back at home - if the legs are gone by the 15th that "one-goal chaos" gets expensive real quick. I'll take the Leafs moneyline, small C$ stake, and wait for the fanboys to pile in when it cashes 🤡💸

been through enough of these rebuilds to know one thing, leafs in one-goal games at the barn is the surest thing going. moneyline's fine, i wouldn't touch the puck line here 😉

One-goal chaos at the barn, sure thing mate 😂 299 against says both goalies better pack a lunch October 15. Moneyline only, anything else is a lottery, not sport 💸

glorydays makes me laugh but he's got a point, both clubs leak goals like an old farmhouse roof 😄 moneyline only for me too, emma's right there. back in the day I'd have thrown a toonie on the over without thinking, but watch as long as I have and you'll get it, october hockey at scotiabank rarely goes to script, so keep the stake small and take the win over buffalo as the one sure-ish thing.

Everyone piling on the moneyline like it's gospel 😂 fair enough, but nobody's mentioned the schedule, Utah away the night before, then Colorado and Vegas around it. That October 15 game is exactly the one a tired roster sleepwalks through, so I'd want the price before staking a dime. Remind me of everyone's ROI here before the fanboys crown Jack 🤡😏

StandsGuy's got it right, back-to-back from Utah matters. Moneyline only for me, small C$ stake, price first. See you after the match 🔥
Bankroll discipline wins.
