Yzerman built the Tampa cup winners, now he gets three springs of draft capital and cap space to do it here, and you'd trade that for what, exactly? Ask me again in April 2025 when Seider and Raymond are due their next step. Not convinced the process is wrong - just slow, and slow is what happens when you inherit a bloated cap with Frans Nielsen money still on the books.

I'll eat a -150 moneyline on the core being real, yet I stopped paying for hope in the winter, had a C$50 position on them making noise and it didn't land, lesson logged.
