Dead last with 316 goals against and you're asking me to touch them on a five-game road trip? Hard pass on the moneyline every night of that swing - Carolina and Florida alone should flatten them. Only angle I'd even consider is small puck line plays if the sportsbook pads the price enough, maybe C$10 a shot for value, nothing more. Their goalie situation is the first thing I check and I don't trust anyone in that crease right now 😭
Value over a big price 💸

Harry, I hear you on Carolina and Florida but auto-fading all five is lazy money. The Islanders game on the 13th is the one spot they might actually land. Second night of a back-to-back-ish stretch for NYI and that's exactly where dead teams cover the puck line. Small C$25 play there, rest of the trip I'm with you. 🔥

Harry, I'd temper that a bit, 49 losses doesn't mean an auto-fade every night, there's a nuance here. Five road games against Carolina, New Jersey, the Rangers, the Islanders and Florida is brutal on paper, sure, and that 216-316 goal split supports your moneyline pass. But sample size matters: one 82-game season of a 32nd-place team tells you about the average, and bookmakers price exactly that into the lines. If anything, I'd look at the puck line in the Islanders game on October 13 rather than assuming Carolina and Florida are guaranteed blowouts.
I keep my own tables 📊

Ben "the Islanders back-to-back is where dead teams cover" 😂 mate remind me of your ROI from the last time you sniffed a soft spot on a 49-loss side? Wait for the fanboys to pile in with the Isles logic too, I'm hammering Carolina and Florida moneyline and keeping my C$ far away from anything Vancouver. Harry's the only one here talking sense, which says a lot about this thread 🤡💸
Show me your ROI first 😏

StandsGuy roasting Ben's ROI is rich given nobody in this thread has posted a single sample size yet 📊 Depends how you count it, but a side giving up 316 in 82 games (~3.85 per night) doesn't need to "flatten" anyone. It just needs to not get blown out twice in five nights. My read: small puck line positions on the Isles and Rangers dates only, maybe C$10-15 units total, skip Carolina and Florida entirely. Context matters. Dead-last teams cover when the opponent sleeps, and the middle of a trip is exactly where sleeping happens.
Do the math before you argue.

316 against and RideOrDie wants us impressed they "don't get blown out twice" 😂 mate that's the bar now?? I'll put a toonie on the Isles game maybe... maybe 🤬 but anyone touching the Canes or Panthers moneyline the other way deserves whatever comes. Bleeding Canucks blue my whole life doesn't make me stupid... just close to it 💔
You don't abandon your own.

Funny how everyone quotes 316 like it's a random number and not the endpoint of an 82-game sample. I keep my own tracking sheet, and here's the catch: October road trips against rested Metropolitan sides tell you almost nothing about last season's table. Rosters changed over the summer, so a 25-8-49 record from 2025-26 is a stale dataset until we see two or three of these games. Small sample though, that cuts both ways, which is exactly why I won't touch a moneyline parlay across all five. Where I'd actually look is the Isles game on the 13th. Middle of a trip, fourth game in six nights, and dead-last sides historically cover the puck line more often than they win straight up, because the market overprices them nightly. I'd risk a loonie-tier stake on Vancouver +1.5 there and stay completely out of Carolina and Florida. Those are the two spots where the underlying gap is real, not a leftover number. 📊
Context beats a bare stat.

Zoe love ya tracker sheets ngl but its still 82 games of leaky d deciding last years table lol 😅 that dont just vanish over summer. We gave up nearly 4 a night everyones acting shocked?? im throwing a tenner at NJ Oct 10 purely vibes, ah well, nowt to do 💪🔥

Funny, my spreadsheet flagged this trip too 📊 I'll take the Islanders game Oct 13 as the one live spot. A defence giving up 3.85 a night still covers a puck line roughly when the opponent's own scoring dries up, and the Isles weren't exactly firing last spring. Carolina and Florida? Two C$ on the Canucks there would be charity, count me out. Small sample on October form, sure, but 82 games of leaks is a real number.

Doubting half of you lot already 😂 Paul throwing a tenner at NJ "purely vibes", Andy with his maybe-toonie on the Isles... no one actually backing Vancouver then?? I get it, 316 against, my stomach hurts too 🤬 but every one of these sheets says they're odds-against in all five games, so someone's gotta take the contrarian leap. Not me tho, can't do it even for fun 🔥

Sophie, fine, I'll be the sucker: C$15 on the Isles game, Oct 13, taking Vancouver plus whatever the puck line pays. The New York Islanders ranked near the bottom of the league in goals scored last season, and a leaky defence keeps games close when the other side can't finish; three of those five opponents (Carolina, Florida, the Rangers) were real scoring threats, so the Islanders date is the one spot where "bad vs. bad" actually applies. Small sample though, one night, one stake, and I'm flat-betting it like every other Tuesday at the book.
I keep my own tables 📊

Lmao Gary backing we plus the puck line outta pity 😱 respect tbh. Isles can't finish, sure, but our defence gives up chances to MY rec league squad. C$5 on Oct 13, through thick and thin 💪🔥

Skip Carolina too, but I'm on the Oct 13 Isles game, C$20 on Vancouver plus the puck line, checked who's starting before I touched it. See you after. 💸
