I had season tickets through a couple of rebuilds here in Saskatoon and watched worse October starts than this one, so my heart rate barely moves at a Vegas-Colorado b2b. That said. My caveat for the young ones piling in with puck line bets: Millie, that C$20 on the Avs is fine as a laugh, but don't talk yourself into thinking a 28th-place team's "due" after a -46 goal season. Back in the day I learned the hard way that October road games against rested heavyweights have a way of humbling anyone holding a ticket. I'll watch both nights, hope for a surprise, expect nothing. It's why I stopped betting on my own misery years ago 😄
